To help our users to understand better how Mobills works, it is important to know how are calculated some of the values which are displayed on our tool.
Actual Balance or Accumulated Balance
The 'Actual Balance' or 'Accumulated Balance', is the value that represents what you may have in your accounts right now. You can find this value on the Main Screen of Mobills App or when accessing the 'Accounts screen'.
This value is obtained using the following index:
Actual Balance = Opening balance + (Net income - expenses incurred)
The 'Expected Balance' is the value which according to your entries registered, represent what you must have in the ending of the followings months or the actual month. You can find this value in several places on Mobills.
There are some examples where you can find these values:
- On the main screen of Mobills iOS moving to the following months.
- On 'accounts' screen moving on for months.
- In financial transactions (Mobills Web) also moving to the following months.
The expect balance is calculated using this formula:
Expected Balance = Actual Balance + (Pending incomes - pending expenses).
Watch out: In the case of pending values on previous months or entries are done in the following months to the actual date, the Expected Balance will calculate all of this information.
