A simple way to identify an expense is categorizing it. Then you can track how your money has been spent. This allows checking how much per month you spend on food, gas, home, telecom, transportation, travel and other categories and finding some points where you can save money.
In this article, we'll show you how you can manage your expense types (categories).
On the home screen (dashboard) tap on "More options" and then 'My Categories'.
Doing this you will reach to a screen where you can manage your expense and income types.
- To CREATE a new expense type, tap on the '+' icon in the right corner.
- To EDIT a category simply tap into an existing category and make the changes necessaries.
- To DELETE an expense type, touch the category that you want to delete (will pop the edit screen) and then select to archive. After that, go to the box icon at menu bar to see your archived categories, you can restore or delete it.
Attention: By deleting a category, all expenses related to this category will also be deleted! So you must be absolutely sure that you want to do this before deleting a category, this action can not be undone!
