Are you facing difficulties to do the importing of your OFX files?
We're going to help you with some explanations and important points that may be affecting the reading of your file!
An important point is that some OFXs contain a different format from the standard, not bringing the negative sign (minus) in their content, so Mobills can't recognize it.
For these cases you can open the OFX file and edit it by inserting the minus sign next to the expense values you want to import! The example below will help you to understand:
Value without the negative sign Value with the negative sign (-)
Insert the "minus" signal without spacing!
After inserting the minus sign into your expenses, simply save the file and try to import again.
- If you are trying to import a converted file, i.e. it was not originally a bank OFX, but you converted it to that format, it is very likely that Mobills won't read or will read incompletely because Mobills is programmed to recognize only original formats.
- (Mobile devices) When you tap "Import" in the CSV import box, Mobills may not open where your worksheet is located, you must look for it within the navigation options of the device.
- Mobills can only import up to 6 months prior to the date you're trying to import OFX files. If it is beyond this period, unfortunately, the file won't be imported.
- On Mobills you can't import OFX files which the extract is from a bank transaction and credit card in the same file. It is possible to import OFX only from the Debit function or only from the invoice of the credit card;
